Buddy Check Coffee Break
The Buddy Check Coffee Break is a program developed for veterans and first responders. On the first Wednesday of every month, they meet at 10 am at the branch for coffee and cookies, donuts or muffins. The program is funded by the branch poppy fund, and the purpose is to provide the group with some social time together and a format to open up about issues that may be concerning them. It is a format to make the veterans aware of resources that are available to them from Veterans Services at provincial command. A veteran must chair this committee, and we are indebted to comrade Ron Faulkner for taking on this task.
